Couples, Engagements & Love Stories

Your Love Story

Some chapters of a relationship arrive with a clear milestone. An engagement. A proposal. A wedding slowly taking shape.

Others are quieter. A season of simply being together. A chapter you don’t want to rush past without preserving it. The way your relationship feels right now, before life shifts again.

My couples and engagement sessions are designed to preserve connection, atmosphere and intimacy in a raw and honest way. They’re for couples wanting imagery that reflects not only how this season looked, but how it felt inside.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, I photograph couples, engagements and love stories across the Peninsula and surrounding areas, creating space for genuine connection to unfold calmly and naturally.

A calm, unhurried approach

The most meaningful photographs aren’t about perfect poses or trying to create a version of your relationship for the camera. They’re about closeness. Familiarity. The way you move around each other without thinking. The quieter details that already belong to your story.

Whether you’re newly engaged, celebrating a proposal, marking an anniversary, or simply wanting to preserve this chapter as it is now, these sessions are intentionally unhurried. I gently guide where needed, but always leave room for genuine moments, conversation and connection to unfold naturally.

If you’re looking for a couples or engagement photographer on the Mornington Peninsula, my approach is centred on presence over performance. The idea is to create deeply personal photographs that continue to hold meaning as the years pass.

An experience that

  feels personal, calm

and considered.

A session shaped around your story

No two relationships move in quite the same way, and your session should reflect that.

Some couples feel most comfortable walking the coastline at sunset, while others are drawn to somewhere quieter and more familiar. Whether at home, outdoors, or somewhere that already holds meaning in your relationship, the location should feel like an extension of the experience rather than simply a backdrop.

If you’re unsure what would feel right, I’m always happy to suggest locations based on the atmosphere you’re drawn to and how you’d like the session to feel.

What you can expect

Whether your session is tied to a milestone or simply the feeling of wanting to remember this chapter, the intention is to preserve your relationship with warmth and care.

Where sessions can take place

In-home couples sessions

For couples wanting something intimate, personal and grounded in everyday life, an at-home session can be a beautiful way to document your relationship in a familiar space. These sessions are often slower and quieter, preserving not only the two of you, but the atmosphere of the life you’re building together.

Outdoor couples sessions

For couples drawn to open space, sea air and movement, an outdoor session can offer a relaxed and natural way to document your relationship. Beaches, coastal tracks, open fields and quieter corners of the Mornington Peninsula all bring something different to the imagery, and I can help guide you towards a location that feels like a good fit.

Completely. Most people don’t arrive at a session feeling instantly comfortable, and there’s no expectation that you need to know what to do. I work in a calm, gentle way that gives you space to settle in, connect with each other, and let the experience unfold naturally.
